And as a result, Dortmund discovered Modeste, a striker who some savvy Premier League fans will recall from his stint at Blackburn, as a stopgap forward. The Frenchman joined Rovers in 2012 as they battled relegation, moving to Ewood Park on loan from Bordeaux.
