In the midst of the current crisis, Javier Hernandez has offered to play for Manchester United for free.

Man United legend Javier Hernandez has stated that if the opportunity to return to the club arises, he would play for free, as he is currently focused on an MLS title challenge with the LA Galaxy.

Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has stated that if he were to return to Old Trafford, he would play for free.

Hernandez, who won two Premier League titles with the Reds after being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, has not been surprised by United's spectacular fall from grace in the nine years since his former manager retired.

As new manager Erik ten Hag looks for a striker, the 34-year-old Mexican forward has helped the LA Galaxy storm to the top of the MLS Western Conference - and is eyeing another championship medal.

However, the man known as Chicharito admitted that United is still close to his heart.

When Ferguson left United in 2013, Hernandez's fortunes began to dwindle, and he was given out to Real Madrid a year afterward after David Moyes was replaced as coach by Louis van Gaal.

He then spent the next year on the field with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hernandez believes that United were always going to decline after Ferguson left, and that Ronaldo's goals can still help Ten Hag this season despite a summer spent agitating for a move.

"United need to get over the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson has left," Hernandez, who will captain the MLS team against the Mexican Liga MX side tomorrow night, said.

"Would you like to have someone like that?" Yes, yes, and yes. But Sir Alex has left, and things will never be the same again.

"What happened at United does not surprise me because having a manager for 26 years in the way that Sir Alex Ferguson has is not easy in life."

"In my opinion at least, one of his greatest abilities was that possibly seven out of ten players who signed for United worked out."

"That's not going to be easy, man - not for Real Madrid or Barcelona, or even for Chelsea, (Manchester) City, Liverpool, or Bayern Munich."

"It's similar to having won the lottery." Do you believe anyone you hire after Ferguson will be able to do even 80% of what Ferguson did?"

"The problem is that United aren't in the Champions League, so some players aren't going to come," Hernandez explained.
'Of furthermore, there will continue to be players who want to come to Manchester United.

"Who would you pick if another club can offer Champions League?" You decide which club is best for your career.

"United are now going through something similar that Liverpool was going through when I was in England."

"Now I recognize what is going on with Ronaldo."

"Only time will tell what happens to him, but what if he stays and scores 40 goals?" That is possible."
