My mom paid for a portion of my music recordings - Sista Afia

Vocalist Francisca Gawugah, prominently known as Sista Afia, has shared how her mom supported a portion of her music recordings.


In a meeting with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Monday, she made sense of how it is now and then hard to get assets to shoot music recordings for the greater part of her melodies since she is a free artiste. Under such conditions, her mom gives her cash.


"In some cases I wouldn't actually have the cash to shoot a music video then she will give me cash out of her pocket," said Sista Afia.


As indicated by the artist, her mom paid for the music recordings for 'Party,' 'Asuoden,' and 'Jeje.'

She likewise added that she discounts the cash to her mum by assisting with her ventures in Ghana.


"I really do discount her cash to her, when she wants cash to do projects here in Ghana I help her."


Sista Afia, who is the niece of Ghanaian Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, said she wasn't brought into the world already spoiled out of her mind.


She lived in Kumasi during her experience growing up and was selling cakes in her area before her mom took her to the United Kingdom at age 18.


"I'm a Kumasi young lady. I remained in a compound house where I sold 'bofrot' and unadulterated water before I was taken to the U.K," she said.


She is presently on a radio visit for the advancement of her new tune, "Makw?," which was delivered on fifth August, 2022.
