Hakim Ziyech remains frustrated with Chelsea and is considering a move away from Stamford Bridge - while the Blues continue to consider a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Chelsea has spent a club record of £97.5m on Romelu Lukaku's return to Inter and recently announced a £20m deal for Timo Werner, who will return to RB Leipzig while Thomas Tuchel reshuffles his attack.

Tuchel has no shortage of options in attack, Raheem Sterling arrived from Manchester City and Armando Broja is considered a first-team striker after a loan spell at Southampton last season.

Another departure would make room for a new striker in the squad.

Aubameyang's representatives met with Barcelona amid Chelsea's interest.

The former Arsenal captain was offered to the club last week alongside Frenkie De Jong and Memphis Depay, who is currently in advanced talks with Juventus.

If Chelsea doesn't sign Aubameyang, they could look for alternative targets as some strikers are unhappy under Tuchel. Ziyech wanted to join Milan throughout the summer and friend and former teammate Lukaku recommended him to the Italian champions.

However, the Moroccan has been frustrated by the slow pace of his loan spell with the option to buy and has increasingly tasked his lawyers with finding alternative options.

Ziyech wants to leave Chelsea after being an unused substitute in the weekend's 1-0 win over Everton.

Tuchel is aware of his displeasure but is ready to keep the 29-year-old for another season.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, meanwhile, has been left out of the Goodison Park squad altogether and does not feel part of Tuchel's plans. The 21-year-old had hoped to play for Chelsea this season but now there are offers from Dortmund, Leicester City, and Southampton all interested in loaning him out.

Hudson-Odoi could also be offered a permanent deal, potentially creating additional signing space at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's main transfer focus is Leicester City center-back Wesley Fofana but reports have emerged in France that Paris Saint-Germain could ask him to wait a year before returning to his home country.

Denzel Dumfries of Inter Milan and Kyle Walker-Peters of Southampton is also expected to strengthen the Chelsea right-back.
