Bernardo Silva supports the rumors that he's going to Barcelona: "Manchester City know what I want."

Portuguese star discusses the future

Bernardo Silva, a standout for Manchester City, has spoken out about his future, and his remarks have further fueled rumors that he has his sights set on a move to Barcelona.

This summer, the Catalan club has been widely connected with the Portuguese offensive midfielder, and it appears he is their main priority right now.

Reports claim that the Blaugrana have made a sizable offer for Bernardo, and it looks that he is open to the transition despite the fact that they are still unable to register the players they have previously signed.

I've always claimed to be content where I am, but I have no idea what the future holds. Sincerely, we'll see," Silva said to ESPN.

"I have a very open relationship with the club. They know what I want since I have been honest with them.

"If I stay, I will be very happy, appreciate this club, and give it my all. If not, we'll just have to wait and see since it's football.

City wants its players to be pleased.

Silva continued, implying that if the price was right and he wanted to leave, City wouldn't stand in his way.

He said, providing insight into the club's philosophy: "It's a large club and they don't want players who aren't pleased at the club."

"They always tell us all that we can leave if we're not happy.

"Obviously, they are in business and want the correct amount of money for letting us go, but personally, I have a really respectful relationship with the club.

They've always been truthful with me, and I've always been truthful with them.

As I previously stated, I will always respect my relationships with Man City, the supporters, the staff, and my teammates. Therefore, whatever occurs will undoubtedly take place in a respectful manner.

The mutual respect between the player and the club appears to be strong, and the same might be said for any prospective conversations between the two clubs.
