New Ghanaian German-born defender, Stephan Ambrosius is set to join St Pauli in the summer transfer window, we can can exclusively report.
The incoming Black Stars centre-back (CB) will be joining the Boys in Brown on a season long loan from Hamburg as he eyes a place in coach Otto Addo's team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Stephan Ambrosius has struggled to break into manager Tim Walter's team since returning from injury, which did rule him out the entire last season.
This season the 23-year old is yet to make an appearance in the Bundesliga II and has not made the matchday squad in the last three games.
We can reveal that talks between the player's representatives and St Pauli has been positive and will join on loan before the window shuts.
