At Wenchi, an evangelist was arrested with human parts.


A 45-year-old self-acclaimed evangelist is in the holds of the police after he was gotten with human parts at Buoku Nkwanta in the Wenchi district of the Bono Region.

Evangelist Elijah, as he is known in the area, was captured upon a clue a dubious by an occupant of his proclaiming exercises.


The Assembly Member for the area, Hon Mustafa Musah, who affirmed the capture to Otec News columnist, Nana Anfreh Damanata, said the episode occurred on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.


As per Hon Musah, the suspect lives alone on the edge of the local area, he comes to teach and returns to rest at night.


"A security with a quarry organization cautioned me of his doubt of the nighttime exercises of the minister, we continued to his home, and a modern day miracle, we saw human parts being dried on his compound," he said.


"In the organization of the town elderly folks, we got hold of him, advised him to open his entryway, and amazingly, we found other human parts in polythene sacks and on the floor," Hon Musah added.


Evangelist Elijah kept information from getting the human parts while addressed, saying he had no clue about the human parts.

Police from the Chiraa Police Station in the Sunyani West locale of the Bono Region were promptly required his capture.


Further checks led in his room tracked down sets of scissors, cleavers, pens, folding blade, and other dangerous weapons.


A 23-year-old Senior secondary School graduate, referred to just as Faisal, a companion to the evangelist was likewise captured by the police to aid the examination.


Different checks by the police and the inhabitants at Buoku Nkwanta Cemetery likewise found that a burial place has been broken and the body.

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, has caused a reshuffle within the Ghana Police Service's high command.

According to available information, DCOP Dr. Sayibu Gariba, the immediate past Upper East Regional Police Commander, will take over as Accra Regional Police Commander.
