Unwanted Tottenham stars Tangi Ndombele, Giovanni Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon, and Harry Winks have been left out of the first team and are training individually as the club continues to look for a buyer before the end of the transfer window.
The quartet has been working alone and apart from the rest of Antonio Conte's squad since the club returned from their pre-season tour of South Korea after being told the head coach could only work with a select number of players.
Spurs are keen to release all four but it is understood their futures will likely not be decided until the final week of the transfer window and possibly deadline day.
Ndombele and Lo Celso - a club record signing until this summer - attracted interest from Villarreal, where the latter spent the second half of last season on loan, but Spurs have yet to receive an offer for the two midfielders.
There is also interest in Lo Celso from Fiorentina, but both Villarreal and the Italian club prefer loan deals, with Spurs looking to offload the Argentina international on a permanent basis. Ndombele has been offered to Newcastle by their representatives, although the Magpies boss Eddie Howe is unconvinced by the Frenchman.
Winks' situation is being monitored by the Spanish side Valencia but so far there have been no bids for the England midfielder as interest from Everton and Leicester waned at the start of the summer.
Reguilon's hopes of a Sevilla return came to an end when the La Liga club loaned Alex Telles from Manchester United, while Brighton expressed interest in the Spaniard to replace Marc Cucurella, who joined Chelsea.
Spurs could also loan Brian Gill to continue his development. Valencia and Real Sociedad are in talks for the 21-year-old, who trained with the first team and was on the bench on an opening day. Gill spent the second half of last season on loan at the Mestalla.
Pape Matar Sarr is in a similar position while Japhet Tanganga could be sold for the right amount and has been disputed by AC Milan and other Italian clubs.
