French club OGC Nice have shown interest in signing talented Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus from Ajax Football club this summer.
The Ligue 1 side are looking to strengthen their midfield and have identified the 22-year-old Ghanaian as a suitable option.
According to a report by French news outlet L’Equipe, OGC Nice are monitoring Mohammed Kudus situation and are ready to offer 12 million euros to sign the player.
Ajax football club bought Mohammed Kudus from Danish club Nordsjaelland two seasons ago for nine millions euros.
The Ghana international has not lived up to his full potential since joining the club due to severe injuries after two seasons.
Mo Kudus made only 16 appearances in the Eredivise with a sum total of 500 minutes for Ajax.
With the arrival of a new coach Alfred Schreuder following the departure of Erik ten Hag (ETH) to Manchester United, Mo Kudus may have to prove himself to his new boss.
However OGC Nice may guarantee Mohammed Kudus more playing time should he join the club this very summer.
The Black Stars midfielder has a running contract with Ajax fc until 2025.
Mohammed Kudus recently joined Ajax’s team for preseason camp after his engagement with Ghana for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central Africa Republic which he netted two goals.
He was also part of the Ghana squad that qualified for the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar after edging past Nigeria in the playoffs.

The bulky striker has been deemed surplus to requirement by the club ahead of the start of the 2022/2023 football season.
Kofi Kordzi who rejoined the club after leaving the Qatari side Muthair endured a difficult spell last season.
He was suspended during the course of the season after engaging in an “unauthorized” game.
The club has decided to part ways with the center forward who currently has a one-year remaining on his contract.
Despite the club stating he is surplus to requirement, they are yet to terminate his contract to part ways sth the forward.
