Prophet Kwabena Asiamah founder of the Ajagurajah Movement and popularly known to be Prophet Ajagurajah has said that the name of the Ghana national team "Black Stars" should be altered.

The controversial prophet Ajagurajah outlined the importance of names and their implications and suggested the Black Stars must be changed to a different name.

According to him during an interview with multimedia Hitz FM in Accra, no star gives off dark light so the name should be altered.

"There is no star that is black, there is no star that gives off black light, they all give off a very bright light, why would you name yourself ‘Black Stars ?" The popular prophet asked.

The Black Stars of Ghana have won the Africa Cup of Nations on 4 occasions in 1965 1968 1978 and 1982..

The team has also made 3 appearances in the World Cup in 2006 2010 and 2014. And also will be making a 4th appearance in Qatar later this year.

The black stars has suffered a lot of backlash for dismal showing at the Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon earlier this year.

Prophet Ajagurajah believes the name of the team could be affectingg their performance hence the suggestion.
