Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admits that winger Callum Hudson Odoi could leave the club this month.

Thomas Tuchel stated Hudson-Odoi, who has Ghanaian roots must "fight’ his way into his squad.

"It depends in the end on what the he  wants, how bad the he wants it, what we think and who is ready to pay a certain amount of money and then maybe everyone is for sale.

"Callum Hudson Odoi competes, he had a long-term injury and long-term problems to overcome so that is from where he suffered. I think he has still a long way to go to live up to his potential because the potential is very huge.

"Having Raheem Sterling in can maybe give him the extra boost to step and see what is needed on these kind of positions to reach the level that he wants to reach and that he can reach. At the moment he is our player and he needs to fight and fight."

The 21 year-old has found opportunities hard to come by under Tuchel and does not see that changing.

Tuchel has snubbed Hudson Odoi in the first two games of the season. The 21-year-old did not make the squad against Everton and was an unused substitute in Sunday's controversial draw with Tottenham.

Leicester City and Southampton are two clubs that are mentioned as potential suitors for the wantaway Callum.

Crystal Palace Football club are expected to go all out for a striker to bolster their attack, and Patrick Vieira is interested in Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo.

Following the departure of their striker Christian Benteke, the Eagles are looking for an additional threat up front and Patrick Vieira believes Semenyo can do a great job.

The 22 year old would cost around £12 million, and the club could take a risk on him after impressing in the Championship last season 21/22.

Crystal Palace have been linked with strikers from all over Europe but a domestic target would be more appropriate for their their plans.

The Eagles are also looking for loan players, but they prefer to invest in players who really have the potential to improve.

Antoine Semenyo scored eight goals and provided 12 assists last season, earning him a debut call up to the Ghana national team.

He made his first appearance for the Black Stars in June in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Madagascar in Cape Coast.
