Saliba has been outstanding, and there are undoubtedly some aspects of his style of play that remind us all of Ferdinand in his formative years. The Manchester United folklore is, however, entirely correct.
The Arsenal player is only 21 years old at this time. Although he has been in the spotlight for a very, very long time, everyone is now paying close attention to him because of his performance against Crystal Palace on the first day of the season.
Saliba will need to be shielded from the demands of the media, critics, and admirers by Arteta and company. The child must remain grounded and persevere in his hard effort.
