Manchester United has reportedly failed with a big bid for Joao Felix.


The crisis-hit Red Devils looked desperate for a high-profile deal before the transfer window closed as dozens of players have been linked with Old Trafford in recent days.


Most recently Portugal striker Felix with a huge €130m (£109m) bid believed to have arrived at Atletico Madrid this morning.


According to Spanish publication AS, this offer was emphatically rejected by La Liga with Felix's release clause set at €350 million.


Casadei has broken his silence on Chelsea's £12.6m transfer

Confident Cesare Casadei says he is "ready" to embark on a new adventure at Chelsea as he prepares to become the club's newest summer signing.


The teenage midfielder flew to London on Wednesday for a medical after agreeing to a deal worth £12.6m plus a potential £4.2m in addition with Inter Milan.


Casadei has agreed with personal terms with Chelsea and is expected to formally complete his move to Stamford Bridge on a six-year deal in the next 24 hours, with the Blues losing interest from French rivals Nice.


According to Sport Witness, the 19-year-old was questioned by Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb when he arrived at the airport to board a flight to London.

Emerson's wage demands were rejected by West Ham

The Sun reports that West Ham has pulled out of a deal for Emerson due to high player salary demands.


He has two years left on a well-paid Chelsea contract, but he is someone Thomas Tuchel is looking to hand over before the September 1 transfer deadline.
