Three people have been arrested for gang-raping a 25-year-old woman.
A 25-year-old woman, whose name has been withheld, is struggling to urinate and walk after being gang-raped by four young men at Gomoa Dominase in the Central Region's Gomoa East District.
Kweku Derick, also known as Rock, Ramsey, Nicholas, and Joe, also known as Maa Shugar, are the suspects.
The Gomoa Dominase District Police Command apprehended three of the four suspects and turned them over to the Kasoa Divisional DOVVSU Department.
The victim revealed to GHONE NEWS' Yaw Boagyan that two of the guys initially proposed to her, but she declined.
She went on to say that on August 15, 2022, one of the suspects, Ramsey, approached her and proposed to her, and that Ramsey later invited her to visit him.
She claimed that when she went to Ramsey's house, Ramsey attempted to have sex with her, and that after penetration, the other three suspects hiding behind the house rushed into the room and forcibly had sex with her.
The victim stated that she was bleeding from her anus and vagina, and the suspects threatened to kill her if she reported the incident.
Meanwhile, DSP Osei Fofie, the District Police Commander for Gomoa Dominase, confirmed the arrest but declined an interview.

A 60-year-old man who was summoned for incest in the Central Region's Andoe Traditional Council has presented items for purification rituals.
After being hauled before the traditional leadership, the man, identified as Opanyin Kwame Atta, alias Showboy, admitted to the abomination.
Showboy had previously reported some young men, including his 27-year-old daughter's boyfriend, to the town chiefs for falsely accusing him of sleeping with his daughters.
However, when the case was called at the chief's palace, the young men were unable to substantiate the allegations. As a result, the traditional council found the young men guilty and fined them GH2,400.
Showboy and his family became ill for unknown reasons after the young men paid the fine.
One of his 32-year-old daughters is said to have survived her nine-month pregnancy without giving birth.
Showboy is said to have confessed to sleeping with three of his nine daughters when he was called before the Andoe Traditional Council.
After finding the 60-year-old man guilty of incest, the Chief of Andoe, Nana Atta Banafoe, fined him GH12,000 and ordered him to produce some sheep for pacification and sacrifice.
According to myjoyonline.com, Showboy has presented four sheep rather than the requested five.
Aside from that, he stated that due to a lack of funds, he was only able to raise GHC8000 out of the GHC12,000 demanded by the chief.
The Chief of the area, Nana Atta Banafo III, told the media that two separate cleansing rituals would be performed.
He also stated that another ritual will be performed to cleanse the family in order to avoid any further calamity.
