Eric Teng Hag's Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest in Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi in a rigorous transfer search for a new attacker.
According to the Evening Standard, three Chelsea FC players have made the list as potential targets for the Red devils who have been defeated and are currently at the bottom of the table in the Premier League after two games.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports is one of the three, and he is expected to leave Coach Tuchel's side on loan before the transfer window closes..
German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, English Premier league clubs, Newcastle and Southampton are also interested in signing the 21-year-old winger, who Chelsea is not allowing him to leave permanently but on loan to seek playtime.
Hudson-Odoi, made fifteen appearances in the 2021/2022 Premier League season, which saw Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea FC topping the table respectively but is yet to play this season.
Hudson-Odoi didn't make it to the list of Tuchel as Chelsea locked horns with Everton in their opening premier league game and an unused substituition against Tottenham Hotspurs last Sunday.
Hudson-Odoi, born to Ghanaian parents in the United Kingdom has three England caps, and almost joined German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in 2019 but agreed to a five-year deal worth more than £120,000 per week for Chelsea.
Same year, Callum Hudson-Odoi injured his Achilles and he has since struggled to make the list as a regular at Chelsea, but he has spent this summer working on his upper body strength in order to make an impact this season and to establish himself and his young career.
The 21-year-old young budding talent is also, according to unconfirmed reports, in talks with officials of the Ghana Football Association to negotiate a nationality switch ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year. Ghana has been grouped with South Korea, Uruguay and Portugal
