The Ghana Premier League champions of the 2021/2022 season, Asante Kotoko have signed and sealed the movement of Enoch Morrison on a free transfer to the club in the ongoing transfer window.
Enoch Morrison, a 22-year-old talent has signed a three-year deal with the Ghana Premier league giants, joining them after terminating his stay at their city rivals and Alhaji Grusah side, King Faisal FC.
Morrison is a highly-rated player among the best attacking midfielders in the Ghana Premier League following his records and achievements at King Faisal in the last two seasons.
He managed to put the ball seven times into the net and provided two assists in his 21 game outings for King Faisal during the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Morrison is the eighth signing of the Porcupine Warriors in the yet to be closed transfer window after Frederick Asare, Moise Pouaty, Thomas Pele, Eric Serge Zeze, Ernest Osei Poku, Nicholas Osei Bonsu and Steven Mukwala.
He is to, with his teammates work hard for the club to hold on to the Premier league title it won last season and make giant strides at the Confederation of African Football champions league. Kumasi Asante Kotoko is the only team from Ghana to participate in the CAF champions league.
In a related matter, Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum, head Coach of the club in a statement announced his official resignation as head coach of the club. The management and leadership of the team are yet to make a new resolution for the team.
Kotoko will be facing Accra Hearts of Oak in their opening game of the season in a champions of champions format. Kotoko won the league with Accra Hearts of Oak also winning the FA cup.
