During Tottenham's match against Wolves on Saturday, Harry Kane broke Sergio Augero's Premier League goalscoring record.
Last weekend, the England international equaled the former Manchester City striker with a late header that salvaged a point against Chelsea.
However, following his second-half header against Wolves, Kane now stands alone as the leading scorer for a single Premier League club with 185 goals, closing in on Alan Shearer's all-time record.
Spurs had a frustrating first 45 minutes against Bruno Lage's side, but turned the screw after the restart, increasing the tempo at Antonio Conte's request.
Kane had already hit the crossbar with a powerful header, but he made amends in the 64th minute from close range after Ivan Perisic had flicked on Son Heung-near-post min's corner.
Kane marked the tenth anniversary of his Premier League debut earlier this week, but despite his consistent excellence, he has yet to be rewarded with the trophies that a player of his stature deserves.
With Antonio Conte leading a revival with a new-look team, fellow club legend Glenn Hoddle believes an end to Kane's personal trophy drought is just around the corner.
Most Premier League goals scored by a single club
Spurs' Harry Kane, 185
Sergio Aguero, Manchester City, 184
Wayne Rooney, Manchester United 183
Arsenal, 175 Thierry Henry
148 Alan Shearer - Newcastle
'It was touch and go whether he was going to go last year, according to report. He wants to be successful, and he should because he's a club legend.
'If you go back, there are photos on the walls of us holding trophies and stuff.' Harry desires and requires it.
'He's a Tottenham fan, and he's had the best chance with this squad since joining the first team.' I believe they will prioritize domestic cup competitions, as well as the Champions League, However, they now have a squad that is as strong as most people.
'Maybe not Manchester City and Liverpool, but they are up there with everyone else and compete head-to-head with everyone.'
'So I think Harry has a really good chance to go and get a trophy this year.'
