Man United are attempting to complete at least more exchanges as Erik ten Hag devotes his way out of the crisis.

Manchester United are willing to spend their way out of trouble following a poor start to the Premier League season in which they have lost their first two games.

Manchester United will pursue agreements for Frenkie de Jong, Antony and Cody Gakpo after the club's holders gave Erik ten Hag permission to spend his way out of the crisis that has gripped Old Trafford.

United, who will spend £121 million this summer after signing Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro for £60 million, will continue to bring in the trio of big-money signings in an attempt to lift the club out of trouble. It would bring the total bill for the summer close to £300 million.

Ten Hag already facing intense scrutiny after becoming the only manager in over a century to lose his first two games in charge of Manchester United. And the Glazer family, who own the club, will face another barrage of criticism when the Red Devils face bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Ajax has also rejected a £72.3 million bid for Brazilian forward Antony. When news of the bid did break on Friday, the 23-year-old refused to train. Although the Amsterdam club does not want to sell after losing Ten Hag and Martinez to the allure of Old Trafford, it is expected that Antony will be allowed to leave if United offers more money.

United also wants PSV Eindhoven forward Gakpo to join the team to add more firepower. After forcing a 2-2 draw in Glasgow, PSV can book a place in the Champions League group stages when they face Rangers on Wednesday night.

Gakpo, the reigning Dutch footballer of the year, is valued by his club at £35 million and aspires to play in the Premier League. After PSV's European fate is decided, United will increase their bid for him.

Ten Hag is concerned that his ongoing feud with Cristiano Ronaldo will jeopardize his efforts to turn around the club's fortunes. United have insisted that the 37-year-old is not for sale and that no offers have been made for his services. However, purchasing two
