Harry Kane made history by becoming the Premier League's top scorer by a club with his 185th goal for Tottenham in a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Kane headed home a well-taken corner in the second half to end the competition with his 250th goal for the club and 1,000th. to end Spurs' home goals in the Premier League.
Here is how Spurs players were rated...
Hugo Lloris 7
There was nothing to save other than Ruben Neves' comfortable volley. Leading from behind and exchanging words with Son in the second half, apparently because the South Korean didn't show enough urgency.
Davidson Sanchez 7
Made some major closing challenges that promoted the display but were never caught off guard by Goncalo Guedes' sprint. Sometimes dominant in the air.
Eric Dier 7
Made some timely interventions in the middle of the back three and played well, especially in the absence of Christian Romero. Always more reliable.
Ben Davies 7
Engaged in a thrilling one-on-one with Wolves debutant Matheus Nunes, who beat him with a header in the first half but the Welshman's effort was deflected.
Emerson Royal 6
Had a few hairy moments against Rayan Ait-Nouri but was generally solid defensively. In the last third, I struggled to make an impression.
Ivan Perisic 7
Made the breakthrough for Spurs, winning a crucial corner with a sharp run and flicking Son's corner at Kane at the back post. Has developed into the game after a slow start and has shown an impressive ability to dig for crosses from difficult positions.
Rodrigo Bentancur 6
Good at pressing Wolves' midfield and keeping the ball moving but barely made a mark in play and was easy to miss.
Pierre Emile Hojberg 7
Yellow was carded early for a tactical foul but changed his defensive position and kept running until the end. Occasional panic in the last third when in possession of the ball.
Deyan Kulusevski 7
Strengthened in the second half and created two chances for Kane and Son with smart play. It often seems like players are the most likely to find their way through the wolves of an open game.
Heung-min son 6
Under his best form and squandered a fine opening but was still involved in the crucial moment with a corner for Kane's goal. Just before hitting the post from a tight angle.
Harry Kane 7
In the right place at the right time to win the game after being closest to the goal before half-time. Test Sa with a header and wiggle the bar.
submarine
Richarlison (boy 75') 7
The penalty was denied after a fine finish and his shot went wide as he showed what he can do off the bench again.
Sessegnon (Perisic 75') 6
He saved Perisic's leg after the Croatian was out with his calf.
Yves Bisuma (85th Kulushevski) None
Late cameo appearance.
