On Saturday, Liverpool lost out to the signing of a person who "scared" Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte.

Wolves beat Jurgen Klopp's team to the £42 million signing of Matheus Nunes earlier this week.
This player was 'definitely' on Liverpool's radar, according to journalist Graeme Bailey. The Tottenham manager has acknowledged that he was wary of him on Saturday.
Nunes made his Premier League debut yesterday in North London's 1-0 loss to Spurs.
And Conte said in a post-game interview that having him and Ruben Neves in the Wanderers' starting lineup had him concerned.
"If you see their starting eleven today, you have to be a bit scared," the Italian manager said via Team Talk. "Wolves with Neves and Nunes have one of the best midfields in the Premier League."

There may yet be hope for Liverpool next summer despite the loss of Nunes.
That's because Molineux staff members anticipate him to dominate the Premier League this season, according to a Thursday story in The Telegraph that Wolves don't expect to keep him for more than a year.
He received a score of 6.5 from Birmingham Mail for his Tottenham debut, calling him "confident and polished" when in control.
It's hardly the most straightforward thing to start your English football career away at a team coached by Antonio Conte.
However, it was a pretty good debut, and it will be interesting to watch how he does moving forward.

However "The first half was good to maintain composure and endure pain together. I don't recall any outstanding chances we missed or outstanding saves from Hugo in the second half.
Remember that we lost to Southampton, Chelsea, and Wolves when we played them last season? "In the end, it was good. We now have seven points, which is encouraging. The team will keep improving, but it's crucial that the supporters recognize that we can struggle and that they must support us throughout the game.
