A Ghanaian journalist with Metro tv Ghana, Ibrahim Abode has replied his senior colleague Gary ALMITH over facebook disagreement. Below is the letter written by him to Gary ALMITH:
Dear Gary Al-Smith - Journalist
You're a celebrated icon in the world's sports fraternity, many including me cherish and mentor your activities. However, it is unfortunate you decided to make a conclusive submission about my comments on your wall.
IBRAHIM ABODE said:
These were my comments (past/present) that brought this conclusion, non is equally tribally related:
(1) He [Gary] questioned Tariq Lamptey of his Ghanaian name when the lad visited Ghana in may. He posted the video of his question to the Brighten star, and I replied on the comment box that it wasn't necessary to ask about his Ghanaian name again, since the guy has Lamptey as his name. Lamptey is a typical Ghanaian name, so if you tell Lamptey to tell you his Ghanaian name and the person reply Kwesi, it makes it look like the Lamptey isnt Ghanaian.
(2) Gary again posted Mohammed Salisu picture with Ronaldo where they came in contact in the game between Manchester and Southampton a after that match. So many people came demeaning the post and labeling Gary as a PR to Salisu. So I commented and asked why people hate Salisu like they hate the Ayew brothers. That's all, and boom he labelled me what he labelled.
JOURNALIST, IBRAHIM ABODE Stated in his comment:
Note: Ayew brothers are not my tribe mates, I am not a Kasena and I don't understand their language. Secondly, I don't know the tribe of Mohammed Salisu. And knowing his tribe is not my business. Tariq is not equally my tribe mate, so why these conclusions on my image?
Sorry if any of my comment was misunderstood and taken hurtful but I never also meant what you meant.
A flip through the letter indicated there was no reply by the Multimedia journalist by then, however, there can be a reply afterwards.
