Why giving up shouldn't be an option - Opinion
One thing we do normally ask ourselves though is that why should we suffer when many of us are mainly Christians? Why should we suffer when many of us are mainly Muslims? Why should we suffer when many of us are mainly people who believe in God's existence even though we have no physical contact with him?
It is right to ask yourself these questions but have you asked yourself if God does everything for you in your day to day activities? Does God come down from heaven to put food in your mouth? Does he descend to bath you? The answer is a big no! There are certain things the Lord sometimes weighs our strength on, remember Jesus himself was even tested by the devil.
There are certain circumstances in life that not favourable, unfriendly and sometimes very cruel to us. It's even beats us to our knees and we do feel like there is no other hope. That's life for you, if you give in, it will call you a failure and if you hold on, it will call you a strong person or a winner.
This world is not a heaven created for us humans, suffering, woes and troubles are part of us. We leave them not in our daily activities but that shouldn't even be a hindrance to your success. Do you know why giving up shouldn't be an option? This is why...
Life is just like a race, the only difference is that you are not in a race with anyone except yourself. Some do think they are in a race with others and this pushes them to do the unnecessary. One thing you should never do is to compare yourself to others. You can admire them and even aspire to be like them but never compare yourself to them became it's not healthy on you, you will always feel bad in life if you are someone who does that.
Now moving back to the race scenario, one could observe that not everyone is able to finish as the first to complete the race and in that order. It's a clear description of life. Others would make it very early in life and that doesn't mean you are far behind or you are a loser, keep running and there the finish line awaits. Even if you finish as the last runner, what is more important is that you have finished the race and it's an achievement than the one who gave up on the racing path.
Look at her where you started, look at how far you have come; should you give up just like that? The tribulations, the sufferings and hardships you have endured should make you a strong person and not that weak person you turning into; carry yourself once again my friend, my brethren and continue the race because there is a reward awaiting you, you are very near, you are just there and so don't give up yet.
Whenever you think you can't go on, don't you know you never walk alone? The Lord never forsakes, he only strengthens in the moments we think he has abandoned us. Believe in yourself and carry on once again but this time with more pace. Don't give up yet because it's not even an option in the list of options.
