The management of Ghana Education Service is the body to recruite when and where there is need for recruitment of new teachers in various Senior High Schools in Ghana.
Every year, it happens to recuit teaching and non teaching staff into the sector. GES has started gathering information concerning vacancies in various Senior High Schools, (SHS) in Ghana.
This is a letter signed by Mrs. Martha Owusu Agyeman, the Regional Director of Education, distributing to all Heads of various Seniot High Schools or the the second cycle schools and also to all Municipal or Metropolitan and District Directors of Education.
Below is the letter signed by Mrs. Martha Owusu Agyeman and it read as follows;
DECLARATION OF VACANCIES FOR TEACHING PERSONNEL IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS - CENTRAL
All Heads of Senior High Technical Schools to urgently declare vacancies for critically needed teachers to aid Management decision.
This regards to new appointment, re-posting and other attributions. All Senior High School heads are therefore respectfully entreated to validate and update data on vacancy declaration to ensure that all requests reflects the real needs of the school and also taking to consideration the number of periods or hours each and every teacher is to expected to teach in every week to help overstaffed and to allow for easy distribution o f teachers. Kindly request to use the attached template for the task and submit same to the Regional Education office: central@ges gov.gh, latest by 12:00 noon on Thursday 11th August 2022.
You are kindly note that the template requires that you indicate the number of teachers available in the school and number of teachers needed, subject by subject.
