Former captain of the team, Asamoah Gyan has been seen in a series of videos exercising and training for the upcoming world cup after he showed interest in playing for the national team.

Asamoah Gyan has not been very active in the Legon Cities football club for two seasons after he left. The last time Asamoah Gyan was seen in a football match was when he was called up for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

In an interview with Alhaji Grusah on Adom Sports, he emphasized that Asamoah Gya n cannot play for the national team in Qatar. He believes he will be a liability to the whole team. According to him, Asamoah Gyan couldn’t even play up to 20 minutes for the Legon Cities.

He couldn’t even play 20 minutes for Legon Cities. Asamoah Gyan can’t play,” Grusah said.

“If the coach invites him, there will be a problem. Baba Yara did not play at the World Cup. Osei Kofi did not play at the World Cup so Gyan should realize that he has done his part.

“I’m against Asamoah Gyan playing at the World Cup because he claims we scored a soft goal against South Africa, if we hadn’t scored the soft goal, would we have qualified?” he quizzed.

“He can’t play at the World Cup. He can’t be like Roger Milla,” he concluded.

Popular Ghanaian broadcaster, Blakk Rasta, has labeled Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as ‘Freedom Jacob Cheddar’, cruel for detheething and declawing the tigers he flew down to Ghana.

Earlier, Cheddar confirmed the presence of two tigers in his house and indicated that he went through the right process in bringing them into the country from Dubai, among other reasons to boost Ghana’s tourism.

He made these statements while disclosing that the wild animals have been deteethed and declawed.

This was after concerns were raised by Cheddar’s neighbors over the presence of the animals which were being kept on his estate.

But popular Ghanaian singer, Blakk Rasta seems furious about Cheddar’s act of declawing and deteething the tigers.

In an exclusive interview with Ismail Nii Akwei on ‘The Lowdown’, Blakk Rasta trashed Cheddar’s motive for flying the animals from their comfort zone into the country.
