According to the sound engineer, the music group Climbie reached out to artist Fameye for a feature for a song through him but he never fulfilled his side of the deal.
Body Beatz disclosed that artist Fameye charged the music group a whooping GHc3,5000 which the group paid in full and the song was recorded. However, in May 2021, Climbie Afrika reached out to Fameye to get the video of the song shot through the sound engineer.
He once again charged GHc5,000 for the video shot but they later agreed on GHc4,500. He disclosed that the money was paid in full but Fameye refused to shoot the video for the music group. Body Beatz disclosed that it’s almost a year since the group paid Fameye to shoot the video but he has refused to show up for the video shoot.
Speaking in an interview with Ato Kwamina Otoo D’Gem on Takoradi-based Connect FM, Body Beatz disclosed that Fameye has refused to show up even when he agrees to be present.
Body Beatz recounted how he stopped the music group Climbie from arresting the artists in Takoradi when he arrived to perform at the Guinness Bright house concert in October 2021.
Body Beatz finally disclosed the music group has disclosed their loss of interest in shooting the video and hence wants a refund.
Although Fameye is yet to give his side if the whole alleged issue but as we all can agree there is no fire without a smoke there may or may not be a little bit of truth in the accusations leveled against the musician.
He only can justify himself by coming out to give his side of the story and clear the air but it seems he has proven a deaf ear.
A sound engineer known as Body beatz also added that he pleaded on behalf of Fameye to the label not to arrest him else the musician would have been behind bars.
