MAINFESTO DELIVERED BY MR. GBADAGO ERIC ON THE 2ND OF SEPTEMBER, 2022 AT THE LETSA KORBA HALL ASPIRING TO BE THE ORGANIZING SECRETARY FOR THE 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR
Mr. chairman , The Electoral Commission, The Student Affairs Tutor, The outgoing SRC Executives, Fellow colleague candidates, Student teachers of Great AKATSICO, All protocols observed, Ladies and Gentlemen. Good evening.
Mr. chairman all protocols observed, before I start with I would like to acknowledge the good work and contribution of the outgoing SRC towards the development of this noble institution especially Mr. Tefe Edem the current SRC organizing secretary I hail you all.
Mr. chairman Ladies and Gentlemen, l am Master Gbadago Eric a competent, collaborative, energetic, hardworking and very experienced level 200 student reading Agric/Home economics and aspiring to be the next Student Representative council Organizing Secretary of this noble institution. A wise man once said and I quote “organizing is a journey not a destination” with this I deem it a great honor to stand before you on this remarkable day to read out and outline my manifesto, as I solicit your support.
The chairman, when elected into office I will create opportunities for leadership development, learning, student’s engagement and fostering of shared responsibilities as well as creating an environment where students will be willing and ready to participate in programs and activities that are organized by the college and the SRC.
The chairman, when voted as the organizing secretary, I will work on solving the current communication gap between students and the school authorities. It has come to my notice that, the ineffectiveness of communication between the two parties has and is causing a lot of problems for us the students, so when elected I will create an effective communication channel.
Mr. chairman , ladies and gentlemen another development I will bring on board is adding value or attractiveness for organizing programs in the college whereby inviting dignitaries from different fields to chair the programs, with this, the students’ body can build connections with this honorable people in other to open future doors and provides conditions necessary in exceling in academics in collaborating with others position holders.
Mr. chairman, I have also noticed that course registration for students in our college is also another problem facing the students of AKATSICO. The good news is that I have a solution to curb this problem when elected into power and that is why I am urging all of you to give me the mandate.
Ladies and gentlemen, I see the organizing secretary and his team as the backbone of this noble institution. This is because they are responsible for arranging and organizing every program in the college to ensure that things are in order. My experience with the executive council has equipped me better to deal with the problems the students face. As stated from above my goals, vision and missions would be achieved when elected into power only by your votes and cooperation. Therefore I humbly entreat you all to remember to elect me as your organizing secretary of this noble Institution.
