DADDY LUMBA OPENS AN ULTRA MODERN FM STATION. (DL FM 106.9)

Celebrated highlife singer, Charles Kwadwo Fosu aka Daddy Lumba, has launched his radio station, DLFM.



The singer announced on Facebook with photos of the newly opened studio and information about programming.

Born 29 September 1964, Daddy Lumba, was the first Ghanaian musician to be awarded Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards. He has released over 30 albums in a career spanning 3 decades.


Although it is not clear whether the media company belongs to him, it will not be surprising to many if that was the case, as his contemporary, Kojo Antwi also owns Breeze FM in Accra.


Daddy Lumba is a renowned ghanaian highlife musician who has been doing music for over decades now. He is widely known both locally and internationally.


Due to his hard work, he has been able to gather a lot of resources and wealth and hence taking this major step in opening his ultramodern FM Station.

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested an armed suspect, Conference Nyerhovwo, who was on a revenge mission against suspected cultists. 



Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, said the suspect was intercepted in Warri while on the way to kill the suspected cultists who allegedly murdered his brother. 


"On 1/9/2022, Patrol team attached to Warri Area Command intercepted a suspicious looking boy later identified as Conference Nyerhovwo ‘m’ aged 20yrs of Jesse town in Ethiope West LGA, Delta State, carrying a bag. Policemen subjected the suspect and the bag to a search," the spokesperson stated. 


"Upon searching the said bag, one locally made cut-to-size double barrel shotgun and four rounds of live cartridges were recovered from the bag. He was arrested and taken to the Area Command
