Having had a good look at this young vibrant politician from the Garu Constituency of the Upper East Region of Ghana, one can clearly define Mbisah Abugri Timothy as the epitome of organisational strength in modern politics.
He is a native of the Garu area, with both paternal and mothernal backgrounds pointing at same locality. He was born and raised there, schooled within the area and returned after School and delivered his services to the area.
Having had a full time life lived within that area, he seemed to have acquired the knowledge and skills of putting people together for a common mission. He has the heart that can harbour both negativity and positivity from all mankind and have had good social relationship with the people of the area throughout his life on this planet.
Today he is out with mission at heart and a message at hand. His political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is going to polls to elect leadership at the various constituencies in Ghana. At the Garu Constituency, Timothy is out for the deputy organizer position.
Though the contest may appear to be keenly contested, voters who spoke to us off camera indicated there is a high opportunity for the lad. As a teacher who have served for over 10 years, some of the delegates maybe his students from way back.
The National Democratic Congress NDC is gearing to take power from the New Patriotic Party after eight years handing power to them. Kwabena Dufour is contesting former President John Dramani Mahama for the presidential candidate position of the National Democratic Congress .
Recently, popular radio presenter and reggae musician, Blakk Rasta attacked Kwabena Dufour over his "Ahotour program". Dufour initiated the program for the grass root of the party but Blakk Rasta said he should concentrate on the struggling EIB network staff.
