As he discussed adjusting to Pep Guardiola's "complex" tactics for Manchester City, Erling Haaland referred to the Spaniard as a "freak."

Haaland discusses his time working for Guardiola.
Many Manchester United supporters are anticipating that this season will be their chance to finally hold the agonizingly elusive Champions League trophy after hearing about his coming at the club. That notion has been supported by the fact that Haaland scored twice in City's 4-0 victory over Sevilla on his competition debut for the Blues.
The 22-year-old has adapted to life at the club quite quickly, although he acknowledged that the method Guardiola employs is difficult to comprehend and shared his thoughts of the 'football mad' manager.
He said of Guardiola, when asked about him, "I think he's he's kind of a bit of a football freak like me. We both love football and yeah, he was a player now he's a manager and yeah, he's crazy about football and this is something I like because he thinks of everything in football, and how you can do things better, and I appreciate [him] for this."
"Up till now, [settling in] has been good. The goals and the way we've been playing show this. Because there isn't much time, I've been coming into the team and trying to learn the system's sophisticated strategies as quickly as I can. I can't afford to squander my time elsewhere. So I've been working to integrate with the team as soon as possible. Despite being incredibly complex, the system is very nice."
Haaland also acknowledged that his morning routine is evidence of his Champions League obsession.
He stated: "The Champions League is fantastic. I must state this.Everyone is aware of this, and yes, it is a lofty goal for me.
"Yeah, I listen to this song [the Champions League anthem] when I wake up every morning. Yeah, because it's my favorite competition, and yeah, I've always loved Champions League, so it's true."
