Ajax Amsterdam attacker Brian Brobbey admits he is frustrated after losing his spot in the starting line up to Ghana midfielder Kudus Mohammed in the UEFA Champions League game against Rangers.

The Dutch international attacker has been used as a substitute in Ajax's two previous games against Rangers and Heerenveen due to Mohammed Kudus' amazing performances.

Brian Brobbey who has started in Ajax's four games this season has been reduced to the substitute role due to competition from the Ghana star, Kudus Mohammed.

"I was a little big frustrated," He admitted on losing his position in the starting line up.

"Which I think its normal, because everyone want to play. Whether it did play a role that I had to show up for two more minutes? Of course, a little bit. But I cannot make anything else out of it."

ESPN journalist, Marciano Vink really praised Brian Brobbey's attitude after he applauded  Kudus Mohammed when replacing him in the game against Heerenven.

"I liked that Brobbey, I was happy with Kudus' goal," said Marciano Vink.

Brian Brobbey climbed off the bench to score in the 5-0 win against Heerenven.

"I am certainly delighted," said the Dutch forward.

" As an attacker you always want to score, always nice. Of course I started from the bench, so if you come in you would have to accelerate anyway." He takes it for granted that Brian Brobbey clapped for his competitor's second goal.

"Mo Kudus is my buddy, I'm happy for him," said Brian Brobbey.

"He did a very fantastic job. I do not talk to him about the competition, but the gaffer has indicated that he will rotate because of the wide selection. I’ve  talked about it with our trainer, but I keep that between us m. As a player you want to play, but if not you have to accept that and prove something."
