Michael Baidoo was highly praised by the Swedish media after scoring a brace to lead IF Elfsborg to a victory over GIF Sundsvall.
The Ghanaian midfielder was named man of the match (MOTM), receiving an 8.1 rating from Sofascore as Elfsborg claimed a 2-0 win.
Michael Baidoo dominated midfield and scored the goals to secure the victory. His passing was also great.
Michael has said he is delighted with his progress at Elfsborg.
"I always try to be focused, and find the net. I’m very happy that it is going as well as it is now", he told Bos talking in an interview.
The fantastic Ghanaian midfielder has had a lot of playing time since the departure of Simon Olsson to Heerenveen.
He’s satisfied with his level of progress this season after getting more playing time.
"We had a plan when I came to, Elfsborg. For me it was about being very patient. If you have a very positive attitude and work hard, it usually turns out very well. I’m not satisfied with my achievements so far"
"When you follow a good plan, you will always know what the next step is. I came to a new team in a new country. Then it is important to focus on the very right things. It’s been a good development for me. I’ve never been worried or disappointed", he did add.
Michael Baidoo has a contract with Elfsborg until 2025.

The 20-year old has told the club's top brass he is no longer interested in continuing his career in Kumasi and wants out.
We can report that the striker has refused to train in a bid to force his way out of the club.
He was not part of the team that travelled to Benin to beat RC Kadiogo 1-0 in the first leg of CAF Champions League preliminary round tie.
Etouga signed a three year deal with the Ghanaian giants in 2021 and went ahead to enjoy an explosive debut season.
