The district chief executive for the Binduri district of the Upper East Region, Hon Yakubu Ayinga is set to hand over a site for the construction of a three unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at the Belimpesi community of the Binduri district.
It'll serve as a source of relieve to the pupil and parents of the area. The school currently suffering from deficit in terms students to class room ratio.
The Hon district chief executive thinks education should be placed as a top priority in every developing society. Expects the project to be executed swiftly in order for the quick relief of the community.
Meanwhile, the DCE and his entourage are expected to proceed to another community (Kpalugu) to cut sod for the construction of a community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS). He added his voice on the relevance of basic health care and said the project when completed would help the people of Kpalugu on health care services.
Moreover, he'll be launching a contract for the procurement of 500 dual desk for basic schools across the district. This would help reduce the incidence of lack of furniture in the basic schools across the district.
Last for the day, there be starting of drilling of four boreholes for four communities in the district today. As they say water is life, the district assembly in collaboration with the member of parliament is making sure every corner of the district gets access to portable water.
The district chief in the early hours of Wednesday released a statement as follows:
"On Wednesday the 14th of September 2022, I will be handing over a site for the construction of a three unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the people of Belimpesi. This is to help ease the class deficit there and to give comfort to pupils and staffs for teaching and learning.
I will also be cutting sod for the construction of a modern CHPs compound for the Kpalgu community. Health they say is wealth hence, the need to give good health care to save lives and to alleviate the living condition of my people.
In addition, I will be launching a contract for the procurement of 500 dual desk for our basic schools across the District. This is to swiftly help minimize if not reduce the challenges facing our younger ones growing up to help in facilitating their learning process.
Last but not least, I will also be launching the drilling of four Boreholes to be drilled for four selected communities. This is part of our agenda to give water to our entire district to help improve our living conditions.
