However, the Argentine's contract with the French giants expires in a year, fueling speculation of a return to Barcelona. Messi has the option of extending his contract with PSG for another year.
Campos recently discussed Lionel Messi's future in Paris, revealing that he has had discussions with the star player about a possible contract extension.
"I asked Messi if he wanted to stay, and I told him that I hoped he would stay for the duration of my tenure here [three years]." "I'm very pleased with Leo," he told RMC (via Fabrizio Romano).
According to Romano, the 35-year-old has yet to decide on his future and is expected to do so only after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
