Aisha Huang's lead attorney, Captain Retired Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey, has declared that his client is innocent of all allegations brought against her in court.
He contends that since the accused is not a galamseyer, the court ought to release her.

At a Circuit Court in Accra, Aisha and three other defendants are currently charged with crimes.
The other suspects are Jong Li Hua, Huang Jei, and Huiad Hiahu, all of whom are citizens of China.
Captain Retired Nkrabeah Effah-Dartey said on Oyerepa FM's "Ghana Te sen?" program that his client "Aisha is an innocent Chinese Woman," not a galamseyer.
He said that no one has been able to offer proof that Aisha Huang has engaged in illegal mining.
Even the Attorney General, according to the skilled attorney, has not been able to produce proof of Aisha Huang engaging in galamsey.
Aisha Huang is a good-hearted Chinese woman; she is not a scam artist.
According to our constitution, a person is innocent unless a court brings a case against them.
"The fact is, has Aisha Huang been charged with being a galamseyer? The response is "No."
He asserts that only the court can decide if Aisha Huang is a galamseyer; therefore, until the court finds her guilty, nobody can declare her guilty.
But the state hasn't been able to show the judge any proof that his client mined illegally.
They failed to present even one piece of evidence to support their claim that Aisha Huang is a fraud.
Nobody has anything, he claimed, to show that Aisha Huang is an unlawful miner.
He thinks that if the court conducts its trial fairly, his client will be freed.
If the Attorney General and the courts rule fairly, Aisha Huang will be freed. Attorney Effah-Dartey declared unequivocally.
