Jude Bellingham is yet to make a decision about his long-term future and likely won't do so until after this winter's World Cup, sources have confirmed. The 19-year-old is fast becoming one of the most sought-after players in world football, a position Borussia Dortmund is accustomed to seeing among its youngsters. Dortmund have signed and then sold a host of big names over the past decade, including the likes of Erling. Haaland, Ousmane Dembele and Jadon Sancho, with these three alone generating around a quarter billion pounds in revenue. The Bundesliga side are fully aware of the interest in Bellingham and would like
to keep him for a further 18 months ideally - 90min have been told that staying in Germany is an option on the table and Bellingham will be looking into it.
Haaland could have left Dortmund in 2021 but opted for another year and didn't hurt his career, while both Sancho and Dembele failed to make an immediate impact at their respective new clubs following their departures. Bellingham was linked with a transfer this summer but never considered a move. He is happy with the team and the people around him, including his family, and they are in no hurry to agree to a move from Dortmund. However, that doesn't mean they don't want to leave by the end of the season. Sources told 90min that after the end of the World Cup, in which Bellingham is expected to feature prominently for England, discussions about his future will take place shortly after.
But no decisions will be made before this winter's tournament. In fact, any rumor that a deal has already been agreed has been dispelled, despite claims Liverpool are on the way to finalizing a deal. 90min can confirm Liverpool are ready to throw their hat in for Bellingham, but they are one of half a dozen clubs willing to make him an offer.
