Jack Grealish criticized Graeme Souness, a pundit, for continuously criticizing the Manchester City player.
Grealish has received a lot of criticism from both fans and analysts since moving to City for a record-breaking £100 million last year, with Liverpool legend Souness perhaps being the most outspoken opponent.
With just seven goals and four assists in 45 appearances for the Citizens, the attacking midfielder's lack of goal-related contributions at the Etihad have drawn criticism from many.
The 27-year-old has also been referred to by Souness as a "decent, not great player" and accused of keeping the ball in his possession for too long.
Grealish has now responded to Souness, declaring that Pep Guardiola is the only person he will listen to for playing-style guidance.

When he's on Sports and it's all over the practice field, it's challenging to ignore. I'm not sure what problem he's got because he was a fantastic player and frequently won.
"I know he's spoken a lot about me not moving the ball quickly, but when I play for a manager like Pep Guardiola and he tells me to keep the ball as much as I can and have the balls to take it wherever, that's what I'll strive to do," the player stated.
