Chelsea supporters respond to Thomas Tuchel's firing

Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, is allegedly eager to investigate the possibility of summoning up Callum Hudson-Odoi from his loan assignment at Bayer Leverkusen. As Potter continues to evaluate his new team, that choice might be the end for two Blues stars who were frequently linked with departures during the summer.

Against Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League, Chelsea's new manager had just 90 minutes to assess the roster of A-list players at his disposal. A few days later, Potter oversaw a friendly victory over Brighton that was played behind closed doors, giving a number of unimportant players an opportunity to shine.

Naturally, Hudson-Odoi missed both games after signing a season-long loan with Leverkusen in the summer. The failing German team could surely use some of his magic right now as they hover towards the bottom of the Bundesliga standings, which is why the winger wanted to receive guaranteed game time.

Hudson-Odoi may be acquiring crucial experience at one of Europe's "big five" clubs, but Potter is reportedly considering canceling the youngster's loan in January, according to sources from Germany.

Tottenham is concerned about Harry Kane as Bayern Munich threatens to rekindle the Conte feud, according to JUST IN

The contract's rules would permit Chelsea to adopt that tactic, however it is unknown how Hudson-Odoi would feel about the idea of engaging in another struggle for playing time at Stamford Bridge. If Potter is willing to take such dramatic measures, it stands to reason that the winger will play a significant part in his first-team ambitions.

Due to their struggles to establish themselves, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic are set to leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The former was heavily linked to Ajax over the summer, but the small print of the transaction couldn't be worked out, and he is still an outcast in west London.

Richarlison of Tottenham is "not the difference-maker," according to former manager Benitez

While Pulisic was suggested in connection with a trade with Manchester United for center-back Harry Maguire, the Blues' request was rejected, therefore Pulisic ended up remaining where he was. In spite of the loss of the aforementioned two,With the ability to play out wide, Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount, and Hudson-Odoi would all provide Potter a ton of options.

With Todd Boehly and company's enormous financial support, Potter may also decide to enter the market for a winger in January. Thomas Tuchel, the fired manager, was given almost £250 million before being fired days after the deadline; considering that Chelsea reportedly sees Potter as the architect of their long-term plan, Potter should also be allowed some money to spend.

Considering that Potter's pursuit of RB Salzburg transfer chief Christoph Freund was unsuccessful, it is unclear which sports director will collaborate with Potter. Despite having supposedly reached an agreement on a contract, the Austrian's employers blocked the transfer.

Retaining Hudson-Odoi and grabbing Leverkusen's sporting director Tim Steidten, who is apparently being considered now that Freund is out of the running, might do a number on Leverkusen. Victor Orta of Leeds and Luis Campos of Paris Saint-Germain have also been cited in connection with the opening.
