Destiny Ekiti is one of the prolific actress in Nigeria. She is a popular Nollywood actress, scriptwriter, television personality and a model. She is very beautiful and knows how how to interpret her role very well. Destiny Etiko was born on 12th August 1994 (31 years), She hails from Udi, a small town in Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She completed both her primary and secondary school education in the coal city of Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, and obtained both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. While In secondary school, she was actively involved in school drama, stage play and performing arts. While still in university, she started acting in movies as a minor character. After her tertiary education, She was enrolled the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), in 2014 and completed her National Youth Service Corps in 2015. In 2012, Destiny Ekiko rose to prominence after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie "Idemili", an epic tragic movie which was directed by Ernest Obi and featured Nollywood stars like Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwor, Uche Odoputa, Ernest Obi, Yul Edochie and Eve Esien. Her role in the movie brought her to limelight and made her a public figure. The movie won her an award for Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

She has acted in more than 100 Nollywood movies. Some of themovies include: Idemili, Airline Babes, Black Xmas, After Wawa, More Trouble, School Trouble, Enema, and many more. Destiny is a force to rekon on in the Nigeria Movie Industry. She has created a niche for herself in the movie industry and has attracted her to prominent movie producers and directors in Nigeria, who feature her consistently in their movies as a lead character and always pay her huge fees for her performances in movies. She gifter it to her on her birthday to show respect and love for all the care and love she got in her childhood years.
