Malta Guinness, Ghana's favorite malt beverage With their "Malta Guinness Plastic Cleanup Campaign" in Kumasi, Ghana is delivering on its brand commitment of making the world a better place in collaboration with Premium Waste, a plastic recycling business.

Through engaging community engagements and partnerships, this campaign aims to promote and encourage the recycling of plastic garbage throughout the nation.

The Guinness Ghana crew held a fun plastic collection challenge for the residents of Kaase.

Teams of residents were formed and given the responsibility of gathering any nearby used plastic materials.

The winning team was the one who had gathered the most plastic debris. They received fantastic gifts from the Guinness Ghana staff as well as chilled Malta Guinness cans as a reward and refreshment.

Samuel Markin, manager of the Kaase Brewery, expressed his delight for the project and praised locals for their support and zeal.

"The residents of the town have been absolutely wonderful today; they all came out in good spirits and with a lot of energy to help with the cleanup and to pick up the plastic in the area.

At Malta Guinness, we put fueling a world of good at the center of everything we do. What better way to achieve this than by making sure our environment is safe and clean? Due to this, we have made the decision to launch this plastic recycling program through community participation and sensitization in order to instill correct garbage disposal habits in Ghana.

Yaw Danso, the assemblyman for Kaase, thanked Malta Guinness for the celebration and for the commendable gesture. He continued by saying that the program will significantly lessen community plastic pollution and give locals possibilities for economic empowerment through plastic recycling. He exhorted other corporate organizations to support continuing environmental initiatives across the nation.

Customers and the general public were urged by Samuel Markin to support the idea and participate in the campaign.

We look forward to collaborating with you all to create a world of good," he continued, adding that "we will be visiting different communities across the country."

The goal of the "Malta Guinness Plastic Collection Campaign" is to inspire Ghanaians to use correct plastic recycling techniques and undergo positive attitude transformation.

The program will be run in localities around the country in collaboration with local leaders to encourage residents to collect plastic debris.

The Malta Guinness Team will establish plastic collection facilities where members of the neighborhood can drop off their plastic garbage in exchange for fun rewards.
