Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, a former chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region's Afigya Kwabre South constituency, has urged Ghanaians to support the government's initiatives to reorganize the economy and make the nation a secure place.

He put in the call on September 25, 2022, during an interview on Nyame Nipa Radio in Düsseldorf, Germany.

COKA pointed out that the needs of the Ghanaian people, particularly those in the Ashanti Region, are still given top priority by the government.

He was reacting to development-related worries that have aroused interest among the general populace in the Ashanti Region and the country at large.

Rome wasn't created overnight, as you can see. And for things to function, not just the government but also every one of us must exert effort. Yes, the government is doing its bit, but the rest is up to us. If we all work together and each person does their fair share, the country will turn out just as we hoped.

Development is a process that takes time. It takes some time. To break the eight-year streak and complete the good deeds, we (the NPP) are asking for four more years.

However, he underlined that "we must have the oneness of thought" to guarantee a complete recovery.

He also discussed the government's initiatives in the areas of transportation, interior, roads, and highways, as well as the expedited implementation of the Jobs and Skills Programme to help private sector companies grow and hire more people.

"The administration is focusing on infrastructure the most. Where you determine how visible these developments are. From Kumasi, you cannot see Tamale's progress. It isn't feasible. Since not everyone can find employment in the public sector, I advise graduates to use their education to launch their businesses. He emphasized that he had discovered that there were more privately owned firms in Germany than there were public ones.

"The administration made sure that the pandemic's worst effects were avoided," the former chairman continued.
