Ghana have two injury doubts ahead of Nicaragua friendly
Alexander Djiku and Tariq Lamptey square measure injury doubts for Ghana’s friendly against Republic of Nicaragua today, in line with Black Stars coach Otto Addo.
The Ghana two defenders did not practise with the team on Monday and could be absent from the international friendly in Lorca, Spain at the Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco against the 139th-ranked nation.
Friday’s 3-0 loss to Brazil saw Djiku play the entire match while Lamptey, a former England youth international, made his Ghanaian debut in the second half.

“Djiku went to the doctor for a checkup because he was feeling a little sore. We must wait for the results, and Tariq decided to warn us to be careful after feeling unwell during the warm-up. He will undergo an evaluation following training. “I hope he can play tomorrow and we hope it’s nothing major,” Addo said.
Ghana
After last Friday’s poor performance, which ended in a thrashing by the five-time world champions, Ghana must defeat Nicaragua convincingly to satisfy supporters.
The squad is practising for the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar with these games. Ghana is in a challenging group and will need to play well to have a chance of moving on to the knockout round.
On November 24, Ghana will play Portugal, then South Korea, then Uruguay in a rematch of their 2010 World Cup quarterfinal match, which the South Americans won on penalties.
It looks a bit more impossible the would feature in the Nicaragua match but hopefully any thing could change in camp before the match starts in Spain at 6:00 pm.
