Arsenal and Liverpool have joined Juventus in the race to sign Real Madrid forward.
Arsenal, Liverpool, and Juventus are said to be interested in Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio. The Spaniard's contract with Los Blancos expires in a year.
According to Calciomercato.com, he has refused to sign an extension and is considering leaving the club. Asensio will be free to negotiate a Bosman deal with any club in January.
Juventus are interested in signing the Spaniard because Angel di Maria and Juan Cuadrado are expected to leave on free transfers next summer. The former wishes to return to Argentina, while no new contract has been agreed upon with the latter.
However, Juventus will have to compete with Arsenal for Asensio's signature. The Gunners want to bring in the 26-year-old forward to add experience and quality to their young attack.
Since joining Real Madrid from RCD Mallorca in 2015, Asensio has scored 50 goals and provided 24 assists in 239 games. He has, however, fallen down the pecking order, with Carlo Ancelotti preferring Rodrygo Goes and Federico Valverde over him.
Liverpool, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keeping an eye on him.
According to the Calciomercato report, Asensio is seeking a net salary of €7 million. He is also looking for a club where he can win trophies.
The former Mallorca man has only appeared four times for Real Madrid this season, scoring one goal.
