ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE GALAXY BUD2

With an amount of $150, the Galaxy Buds 2 gives an amazing value. However, people with iphones  might be better off going to shop somewhere else for their next pair of earbuds.

One of Samsung's famous well-rounded earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2, but can they be used with the iPhone? Even while it would seem surprising to ask about Bluetooth earbuds in such way, it is the current circumstance. Although AirPods can technically be used with any Bluetooth-supportive device, an Apple device is needed to access all of their capabilities and settings.

The Pixel Buds from Google are no different. They will work with an iPhone, but the experience will be much muffled in comparison to functioning with an Android smartphone. Ecosystem lock-in is always worrying, but many wireless earbuds currently have it as a feature.

In the situation of the Galaxy Buds 2, Samsung created its most coercing pair of cheap earbuds yet. They are super small and lightweight, available in a few exciting colors, come with active noise canceling + transparency mode, feature an IPX2 water resistance rating, and can last for up to half a day of continuous playback. All of that is available for just $150, making the Galaxy Buds 2 fierce competition for others like that of Apple's AirPods and Beats Studio Buds.

Before iPhone owners become too excited, though, there is a catch to the Buds 2 experience. Looking at the specs page for the Galaxy Buds, it is crucial to note the 'Compatible Specification of Smartphone' section. Here, Samsung displays that someone needs an Android phone with Android 7.0 or newer and at least 1.5GB of RAM. Missing from this is any mention of iOS compatibility. This is something Samsung also confirmed to Screen Rant at a briefing for the Galaxy Buds 2, confirming that the company's earbuds are not yet officially supported by the iPhone. No matter if someone has the latest iPhone 14 Pro Max or an iPhone SE, the Galaxy Buds 2 are not a good match.

Why The Galaxy Buds 2 Are not A Good Fit For iPhone Users

This  is comparable to that of AirPods or Pixel Buds. Those who buy the Galaxy Buds 2 and have an iPhone will have no hurdles connecting with the earphones once they appear in the Bluetooth menu. Unfortunately, they will only posses extremely basic functionality.
