SEE HOW TO CONNECT THE GALAXY BUD 2 TO IPHONE

There is not an iOS companion app to tweak ANC settings, the equalizer, personalize touch controls, etc., but iPhone users can listen to music, make calls, and utilize the standard touch controls. Only the Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Live support the Samsung Galaxy Buds application that is available on the App Store.

Because of all the above, the Galaxy Buds 2 are only a good match for someone with an Android phone. If people with iPhones need a pair of $150 earbuds but are not impressed with AirPods, something like the Beats Studio Buds are a much perfect choice. They have a comfortable design, ANC, transparency mode, long-lasting battery life, and incorporate seamlessly with iOS.

An ideal world would see all earbuds functioning the same regardless of the type operating system, but alas, that is the way the market works — and will likely remain like this for years to come. It also would not be surprising if future Galaxy Buds follow a similar line. Older models like the Buds Plus and Buds Live functioned surprisingly great with the iPhone, but from the Buds 2 onward, that iOS compatibility may be nearing an end.

How Do You Connect Galaxy Buds 2 To An iPhone

Despite their limited capabilities, the Galaxy Buds 2 are fairly simple to connect to and set up for individuals with iPhones who choose to utilize them. Users must manually set up the Galaxy Buds 2 since the app is unable to do so. Begin by inserting the Buds 2 into the charging case and snapping the cover shut. Open the case after a short delay. The earphones will be put into Bluetooth pairing mode automatically due to that action. Make sure Bluetooth is toggled on in the iPhone's Settings app by opening it and choosing the option. To pair, choose the Galaxy Buds 2 from the list of available devices.

The process to connect the Galaxy Buds 2 to an iPhone varies slightly if they have already been associated with another device. place the earbuds in your ears after removing them from the case.

Now, tap and hold both the touchpads for a few seconds to activate the pairing mode, and follow the guidelines above to pair them to an iPhone. Once configured, iPhone users can use the preset touch commands to control the Buds 2. Tapping once on the touchpad will play or stop music, while tapping twice will play the next track or answer/end a call. Tapping three times will send you to the previous music, and tapping and holding will decline a call
