Real Madrid ready to sign £250,000-a-week Chelsea star

According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Real Madrid is interested in signing Chelsea full-back Reece James as the club seeks to assemble a team of young leaders.


Despite the fact that James only signed a new Chelsea contract worth around £250,000 per week that expires in 2028, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is confident the club can sign him.


Real Madrid sees James as a long-term replacement for current right-back Dani Carvajal and has already begun negotiations to bring the Premier League right-back to the club.


Meanwhile, Hirving Lozano's agent revealed that the Mexican international would love to join Real Madrid.


"Lozano has never hidden his desire to move to Barcelona or Real Madrid," Lozano's agent, Monfricula, was quoted as saying by Gonfiaralete.
