Manchester United overcame Neil Lennon's Omonia last Thursday in Nicosia, but they did not have it easy. Although the Cypriot squad did cause Erik ten Hag's team some late concerns, they eventually recovered to win 3-2.

For United, the outcome of the return leg may be crucial, but so does performance. The club must eliminate opponents like Omonia with fewer issues if they are to have any chance of winning this league.

Who are the players United has to watch out for? Here are three things United should be on the lookout for when Omonia visits Old Trafford on Thursday night:

Given that he only joined Omonia in the summer, the 32-year-old Ansarifard may not be well-known outside of Cyprus, but after scoring the game's opening goal in Nicosia, the fans will remember him fondly for years to come. The stadium erupted in delight after the striker scored, and the commotion persisted for the majority of the game.

Ten Hag will be anxious to prevent the Iranian forward from increasing his total at Old Trafford.

Nothing would make Barker happier than scoring against the arch-rivals of his previous club, Manchester City, where he began his professional career. Barker, who is now 25 years old, formerly played in the Scottish and English third divisions as well as for NAC Breda in the Netherlands.

This summer, Omonia added Barker, who has already scored one goal for the Cypriot club. He was a midfielder in the first game versus United, and his vigor disrupted Ten Hag's midfield.

Since his transfer from CFR Cluj to Omonia in 2019, the Hungarian center back has been a pillar of the Omonia defense. For the Cypriot team, he has made more than 100 appearances in all competitions.

With 51 appearances for Hungary since his debut in 2014, Lang is also a seasoned veteran on the international stage. He played on the left side of a back three in the opening match in Cyprus, and he will be aiming for a better performance at Old Trafford.
