Goalkeeper Felix Annan confesses it was difficult to lose his first-choice position at Kotoko.
Former Ghanaian goalkeeper Felix Annan acknowledged that it was difficult for him to lose his starting place at Asante Kotoko.
In the 2019–20 season, Annan lost his job, which he considers to be one of the most trying times in his life.
"Losing my job at Kotoko was one of the worst things I've ever gone through. I would like to have answers, but I still don't. Maxwell Konadu and I had a confrontation, but Annan claimed he didn't feel the need to go public with the details.
Due to his impressive achievements for Kotoko, Annan was a part of the Black Stars' plans for 2019 and was selected to the team for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
However, the Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu preferred Kwame Baah, and the goalie lost his starting position there.
Annan apparently lost his job at Konadu because he took time off during the season to marry his longtime girlfriend.
