A f*cking massive game and no one inquires about it - PSG boss Galtier loses it in a press conference rant after being asked about Mbappe nonstop

Christophe Galtier went off on the media for only wanting to know about Kylian Mbappe and not the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille.

Mbappe desires to leave PSG in January, and the French champions have refuted rumours to that effect.

* Galtier is angry over Mbappe inquiries that never stop

WHAT OCCURED? This week, reports that Mbappe wants to leave the French club during the January transfer window sparked a media frenzy. PSG, however, has denied the claims. On Friday, journalists persisted in asking Galtier about the subject, and the coach grew impatient with the recurrence and lack of inquiries regarding the impending Ligue 1 match against Marseille.

WHAT THEY SAID: In a press conference, he stated: "The afternoon of the game, there was a rumor that circulated. Kylian had the most exquisite response. He was playing well, being generous to the squad, and showing a lot of support in a match that wasn't of a very high quality, so I believe he was chosen as man of the match." Have I discussed the rumor with him? No! I observed Kylian putting a lot of effort into the rehabilitation process and the preparation for the match against Marseille as well as the match against Benfica. All there is to it is that. I'll say it again: I'm thrilled to be the team's coach. But still, put it in writing, and let's talk soccer.

THE BIGGER PICTURE: In Sunday's Le Classique, the defending French champions face off against bitter rival Marseille. Galtier's team leads Ligue 1 going into the match, although Marseille is only three points back.

THREE IMAGES:

ARE YOU AWARE? Mbappe's goal was key in PSG's midweek 1-1 draw with Benfica. He became the club's undisputed leading scorer in the Champions League with his 31st goal on the night.

WHAT WILL PSG DO NEXT? Following the crucial match against Marseille, PSG will play their next Ligue 1 match against Ajaccio.
