Don't fall prey to the enticing new car; used cars can also be excellent.

Owning a brand-new vehicle brings so many pleasures. First, the car is covered by a new car warranty, so you don't really need to worry about it being reliable. Second, since you will cover every dent and scratch, you won't have to worry about interior imperfections or scratches. While owning a brand-new vehicle is wonderful, we still strongly suggest purchasing one used. There are a lot of reasons why used cars can actually be better than new ones, but we've only included five here. This is why it's not always best to buy  buy new. DepreciSaving a lot of money is the most important reason why a used car is better than a new one. We've shown a lot of used cars that can be bought for a fraction of what they were originally asking for, but none have been as impressive as the Mercedes S65 AMG. This Mercedes, of the highest quality, costs approximately $225,000 when new, but it can be purchased for approximately $65,000 less a year later. An S65 can be found for a fraction of its original cost if you wait a few more years. The S65 is an excellent illustration of the benefits of purchasing a used vehicle. Problems that are clearly defined The majority of first-year issues have been fleshed out, which is one of the underrated reasons to buy a used car. The majority of automobiles have at least one noticeable flaw, regardless of the manufacturer. The Focus RS had a problem with the head gasket recently, but Ford covered it, so owners who buy one used won't have to worry. People who wait to buy them used will know what to expect because previous owners will have documented the problems.Greater Choice:When looking at new cars, one of the things that bugs me is when the manufacturer doesn't always sell exactly what I want. Perhaps you want a hatchback WRX STI. Unfortunately, Subaru has stopped making it. A BMW M5 with a manual transmission is another option. Again, bad luck. This year, cars like the Dodge Viper stopped being made, so you can no longer buy one. When you buy a used car, you have more options than ever before.

When buying a new car, one of the things that most people don't think about is how their insurance rates will change. Insurance premiums will rise because the new vehicle's value is likely to be higher than that of its predecessor. On average, new cars cost more to insure, especially if they are leased or have a lien on them. The majority of people have to pay extra for "gap insurance" in the event that their car is totaled and they owe more on it than it is worth.

When people bought used cars in the past, they were basically betting on how reliable they would be. How easy it is to buy a used car has changed thanks to certified pre-owned programs. Like new cars, a CPO vehicle comes with a warranty, giving buyers peace of mind. It is almost as safe to buy a used car as it is to buy a new one, and it will also have all of the benefits we've listed here.
