You can avoid the exorbitant cost of Veyron maintenance for about the same amount as a new Versa.
You need a lot of money to own a Bugatti Veyron. We are not just referring to the financial resources required to acquire one of the exclusive French supercars. No, we're referring to the ridiculous cost of ownership. The cost of brand-new tires is $30,000. The cost of an oil change is $20,000. We were shocked to learn that a UK company is offering a
comprehensive warranty for a used Veyron because maintaining a Bugatti costs a lot of money. The cost? This Veyron warranty is backed by Warrantywise, which claims to be the best used car warranty in the United Kingdom. It costs just £12,401. Its "Platinum Plus" package comes with a Bugatti that is being sold by Tom Hartley, an English luxury car dealership, and it lasts for a year. We looked on Tom Hartley's website, but there was no listing for the Veyron. The car for sale is not depicted in these images. The warranty states: "Any repairs up to the retail value of the car, including wear and tear, as well as roadside assistance and car hire," states the warranty. Warrantywise will allow the next owner of the Veyron to charge for repairs to "all mechanical and electrical parts, including oil seals, labor rates, air conditioning, gaskets, drive belts, wiring looms, and radiators."
While Warrantywise will undoubtedly incur financial losses as a result of this plan, it is an excellent strategy for public relations. Because not many businesses are willing to sell warranties for used Veyrons, whoever buys this vehicle will get a great deal. Two years ago, Bugatti started its own Certified Pre-Owned program, which has a lot more benefits than this plan, but we don't think the French supercar maker can beat $12,401 per year. Finally, an insult is being thrown at owners of supercars around the world. It is long past due that they begin to receive the same treatment as the rest of us.
